Important Ethical Note

Ahungalla Sea Turtle Conservation Project does not sell baby turtle releases as entertainment. Sea turtles are wild animals, and their welfare always comes first. Hatchling releases depend on nature, nesting season, natural hatching time, weather, beach conditions, safety, and project guidance. We cannot guarantee a turtle release on an exact birthday date. If hatchlings are naturally ready and conditions are safe, our trained project team will handle the release responsibly. Donors may receive an update when available, but the donation is mainly to support conservation work, not to purchase a release. This ethical approach helps protect turtles and keeps the project conservation focused.
